The Breakdown: Offense vs Georgia

September 12, 2017

There is no point putting lipstick on a pig.

Re-watching the Notre Dame offense versus Georgia wasn't a particularly fun thing to do. Trying to pick out positives when Notre Dame settled for four field goals, turned the ball over twice, and gained only 3.4 yards per play would be counter-intuitive to what The Breakdown is supposed to be about.

This is more about answering why things happened, either or good or bad. Unfortunately, in this game, it was mostly bad on this side of the ball.

A large part of that had to do with Georgia's defense.
