Sometimes it's a good idea to ignore the box scores when it comes to evaluating how a group played. This Notre Dame-Michigan State game was a perfect example of that.

MSU outgained the Irish, but let's not act like Mark Dantonio's team came close to playing Notre Dame evenly. I'll wait to dive into it more in my 6 Thoughts tomorrow, but Sparty putting up almost 500 yards of total offense does not reflect at all the job the defense did in this game.
