Notre Dame did a pretty good job holding the Miami (OH) offense to 262 yards last Saturday. At least the part of the offense not named James Gardner.
The 6'4" 216 pound Gardner is an NFL prospect and showed why that's the case against Notre Dame. He was targeted 10 times and pulled in 5 balls for 115 yards and two touchdowns. One of those targets also resulted in a 15 yard penalty for pass interference. All in all, not a bad day at the office for Gardner.
