If Adams does not have a 5 yd hole to run through, he cannot go anywhere. The offensive line is getting manhandled again along with some more bad play calling.

The hand off takes forever and he's not moving towards the line of scrimmage when he gets the ball.

That was all OL. You call a play expecting your line to beat an inferior team up front on 3rd and 4th and short, and you don't do it.

Playcalling, schmaycalling. UNC has a subpar and injury plagued unit and you can't beat them? Bull. No excuses for a unit that wants to be considered elite.
