seems that way or the D is having an off day or playing soft. it looks like last years D at times playing off receivers and no pass rush. hopefully it doesn't effect the standings...

Jesus I need to jump in this is a frustrating game to watch. No pressure on QB and they are passing at will. Is this the blueprint for better teams on schedule to beat us?

Any team with a spread and a decent quarter back will eat us alive. Defense is playing off and getting no pass rush. Complete opposite of last week

Ok, now I think it affects our rank. Sorry, but i do. You don't give up 30 to Wake with their best two offensive players out, their former defensive coordinator on your staff, and claim to be one of the top 3 teams in the nation.

Defensive backs and linebackers cannot get caught flat footed on Wake's RPOs, especially off of the inside zone read.
Our ISD writers have said mostly the same.

Also, our defense, including linebackers Coney and a martini are not at full strength.

Maybe everyone should realize that the Wake Head Coach knows the Elko defense as well as Elko does. They worked together at 4 different schools. This gives the Wake offense an advantage that no other team we will play will have.

To let Wake Forest score 30 on you... probably will be out of the top 4. This looks like a brian Kelly team of old. Get ahead and play conservative on defense and then throw every down on offense. Not a winning philosophy.

First time this year we have not made adjustments at half to shut down opponent. Miami has much better athletes than Wake.

For my eye the last few possessions did not look like Elko. Soft laid back and have a yawn.

Dude seriously? We have played vanilla defense and WF knows EVERYTHING we do. I'm not concerned.

Clemson beat these guys by 14. And that was without Wolford out (BTW, He's their best player)

Meanwhile, Ohio State is getting obliterated. Oklahoma gave up 38 in the first half, Clemson is hanging on for dear life against NC State, and Penn State is deadlocked with Sparty.
