Notre Dame travels to Stanford this weekend as the Irish prepare for another clash. Recently, the Irish have not performed well in Pali Alto, and it would be a nice cap to an impressive turnaround season if they can leave with a victory.

Yeah, how could anyone out there take a top 100 overall prospect (and top 10 QB overall) with a rocket arm and running back type legs and make him a good player...

It's definitely a bit of both. Wimbush seems like a reasonably smart guy when not on the football field, but he continually makes bad decisions on the football field that go above and beyond coaching.

Wimbush really hasn't improved at all the entire year. Stanford is just better than Notre Dame. Good night, all the commercials have really worn me down tonight. Extremely discouraging result.

The receivers aren't incredible, but they are far from the primary problem. Wimbush is terrible.
