AJ Henning Calls Notre Dame Offer "Amazing"

AJ Henning‍ had a conversation with Notre Dame assistant Tommy Rees on Thursday evening and by the time the 2020 Illinois wide receiver hung up, he had a scholarship offer from the Irish.

Henning said he was “at a loss for words” to describe his excitement, but the sophomore managed to offer some.

“I don’t even know what to say,” the 5-foot-10, 170-pounder speedster said. “I’m so excited and overwhelmed.
