Brian Kelly Notebook: Day One of Spring Practice

Notre Dame head coach Brian Kelly spoke about naming the three captains and the first day of spring practice on Tuesday morning. 

On captains:
“We elected Drue Tranquill, Sam Mustipher, and Tyler Newsome as captains this morning. I’m really excited about the leadership they provide our football team and certainly Drue last year being a captain. He was mentioned on 85 percent of the ballots. Pretty impressive.
