Spring games don’t matter. Just ask every quarterback who threw four touchdowns and then never sniffed the field in the fall. Or every running back that went for over 100 and then proceeded to be buried on the depth chart.

Who wins or loses in whatever the format du jour is in that given year is pretty much pointless. The coaches know that and the players know that as well.
