It’s the end of an era with Notre Dame’s secondary as they have to replace two of the best at their positions in the country. Xavier Watts and Ben Morrison were elite players for the Irish. Watts is in the conversation as one of the best safeties to ever play at Notre Dame.

It won’t be as easy as plugging in the next guy and getting the same level of play. Then again, that was what people assumed would be the case with Morrison and the next guy ended up being just as good.
