Parris Bennett isn’t a household name amongst college football fans and Notre Dame fans are probably not familiar with him either. Depending on where you checked, he was either a low 3-star or a 2-star recruit. He wasn’t ranked in the top 1000 prospects in the nation. The Detroit native only had two offers from Power 5 programs and only had nine offers in total.
One of his Power 5 offers came from Syracuse and the coach who offered him was Clark Lea.
