There’s a Top 10 matchup in South Bend this weekend, and Notre Dame head coach Brian Kelly kicked the week off on Tuesday afternoon. 

On the injury to freshman DL Ja’mion Franklin:
“He's going to need surgery, which will end his season. It's a surgery that we don't have very often, quad tendon surgery.
