It’s been a frustrating season for the Naval Academy’s football team. They have been able to grind their way to success running the football with their triple option offense for several years, but right now they are on pace to not finish the season bowl eligible for the first time since 2011. That was the only time they haven’t done so under coach Ken Niumatalolo.

They are currently going through a four game losing streak dropping games to SMU, Air Force, Temple, and Houston.
