After an uncharacteristic first half, Notre Dame made the necessary adjustments to expose Northwestern’s defensive game plan and come away with a 31-21 victory over the Wildcats on Saturday night.
7-for-15 for 107 yards and no touchdowns was the first-half stat line for Notre Dame signal-caller Ian Book. Quite the split for the junior, who leads the nation with a 76-percent completion rate.
