Coach: Notre Dame Hit HR With JD Bertrand

Tim McFarlin would love to take some credit for the person J.D. Bertrand‍ is, but the head coach at Blessed Trinity Catholic High School knows he can’t.

“I’d like to tell you we had something to do with that, but we didn’t,” McFarlin says. “We’re the benefactors here.”

The coach says it’s no secret who made Bertrand into the person he is.

“It’s the parents,” he says.
