2021 Pickerington Central (Ohio) receiver Lorenzo Styles Jr.‍ quickly impressed everyone at Notre Dame’s Elite Skills Camp in June when he ran a 4.43 40-yard dash at the beginning of the camp.

Following the conclusion of the camp, the 6-foot, 165-pounder was asked to stay after to do a few more drills. The next day Notre Dame offered the Ohio State legacy.

Fast forward to January and Styles is turning heads again but this time on the track.

On Saturday, Styles ran 6.89 in the 60m at Youngstown State which set a facility record. The time is good for the top spot in Ohio but is also the fourth fastest time in the entire country.

Styles is becoming a national name on the recruiting trail as he holds offers from Boston College, Duke, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State, Pitt, Purdue, Vanderbilt and Wisconsin.

Notre Dame continues to be in a good spot as he has visited three times since his first visit in June and it wouldn’t surprise if it came down to another battle with the Buckeyes.
