2020 WR Xavier Watts Talks Notre Dame Offer, Interest In Irish

Notre Dame’s interest in Xavier Watts‍ was pretty obvious when the Irish dispatched assistant coach Tommy Rees to one of the 2020 Nebraska wide receiver’s basketball games early in the staff’s travels across the country a few weeks back.

If there was any doubt remaining, that was erased when Rees extended a scholarship offer to the 6-foot-1, 180-pound junior this past weekend.

“He told me to call him and we talked on the phone,” Watts explained.
