Uyeyama's 2020 Big Board - Defense

Great Notre Dame teams have been powered by great defenses. No matter what decade it was or who was coaching them, it was a common piece of what made for a successful season. Last year was no different and the coaching staff obviously wants that to be the norm rather than an exception.

To have that happen they need to continue to recruit at the level they have been on that side of the ball. They’ve signed 16 4-star rated defenders in the last two recruiting cycles.
