Dallas - Michael Mayer‍ came into The Opening trying to prove he was the best tight end prospect in the country. He did his part on day one to prove that he is.

Mayer was dominant in one on ones making several outstanding catches. He adjusted to the ball extremely well and his concentration when making contested catches was perfect. Mayer also showed he can threaten vertically with his speed and tested some very athletic linebackers to turn and run with him.
