Notre Dame will arrive in at Georgia Tech on a four-game winning streak and a chance to move to 3-1 in ACC play.
Mike Brey's squad has made 53 three-pointers during the win streak and it's been efficient shooting at 46.9 percent from deep.
The Irish will look to get over the hump at Georgia Tech as Notre Dame is 2-6 record since 2013-14 in Atlanta and it starts with staying hot from three against the Yellow Jackets pesky zone.
"If you can get to 3-1 in this league, you are starting to really feel it," Brey stated. "We're going to play against the zone. They play their little matchup zone down there. It's a tough place to play."
The last eight meetings have been decided on average by a margin of just over three points, including last year's game.
Notre Dame was up 17 points and fell 82-80 as Cormac Ryan missed two free throws with under 40 seconds to play.
"I think our guys remember we were in position last year playing really well and we couldn't finish it," said Brey. "There's a good vibe about this group. I think we found something this week. See if we can take it on the road."
Georgia Tech will be missing a vital piece of the lineup as Rodney Howard will miss the game with an ankle injury. Howard started the first 11 games of the season and was averaging 6.2 points and 5.5 rebounds per game.
The Yellow Jackets are also expecting to be without guard Bubba Parham as he will likely miss tonight's game with knee soreness after returning the last two games from a torn meniscus.
That said, Notre Dame will need to shoot the three well and find a way to slow down Michael Devoe, who enters the game averaging 21.2 points, 5.1 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game.
