The Latest | 2023 ATH Alex Mota
2023 Marion (Iowa) athlete Alex Mota made his way to Notre Dame for the first time this weekend and he was blown away. The three-star prospect didn't get the offer, but he's a kid that Notre Dame will probably monitor through his junior year. He did work out at receiver and safety today, so that shows his versatility - and don't forget Kansas State has offered him at quarterback. Mota says he enjoyed seeing campus and all the tradition around the place. Full story coming tomorrow. Sophomore Highlightshttps://www.hudl.com/video/3/12897298/5f87443032dd9a104c39dbeb

2023 S Sets Visit
I wrote about 2023 Marion (Iowa) safety Alex Mota in Friday's Gold Rush and the 6-foot-1, 175-pounder tells me he'll be at Notre Dame on June 6th for Irish Invasion. Mota has been in contact with safeties coach Chris O'Leary and Chad Bowden over the last few weeks and has been impressed with what he's heard from the staff. He's also a kid that will enjoy Notre Dame's culture and environment as he's the type of kid Notre Dame looks for on and off the field. The camp will be big for him as he played a ton of QB last year. It was actually his first year of playing QB and Kansas State's offer is to play QB. Ideally, Mota says he wants to play receiver or safety in college, which makes a ton of sense as he's a great athlete and he's not afraid to hit. National Average Rating

The National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a Irish Sports Daily rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the Irish Sports Daily Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide Irish Sports Daily readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.

Staff Predictions

The predictions represent which school each staff member believes will ultimately sign the recruit, and the confidence meter represents his level of certainty in that outcome.

Example #1

If the predicted school is Notre Dame and confidence is set to “High”, then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Notre Dame and I feel very certain about that.”

Example #2
