2025 Michigan Commit Expected to Visit Notre Dame
In talking to a source, 2025 Southern Lehigh (Pa.) tight end Andrew Olesh is expected to be at Notre Dame for the Florida State game next month. The 6-foot-5, 215-pounder committed to Michigan back in July after taking official visits to Alabama, Florida and Penn State. Notre Dame has been looking at adding a second tight end in the 2025 recruiting class for a while. West Coast tight end T'Andre Waverly took an official visit earlier this fall and remains a player the Irish could make a move on, but it appears Olesh has their attention too. 2025 Unicorn Visiting This Weekend
Notre Dame general manager Chad Bowden made a trip to Seattle last week and it was to one of the unicorns in the 2025 recruiting class in Kamiak (Wash.) tight end/athlete T'Andre Waverly. The 6-foot-4, 220-pounder ran a 10.6 100m in the spring. Waverly's film is comical at times as he can do a lot on a high school field at multiple positions. Right now, Notre Dame likes him at tight end and it's easy to see how he would cause defenses major headaches, especially paired with a guy like James Flanigan. It's not often SEC schools go to Seattle, but Waverly has drawn plenty of attention from SEC powers as well as Oregon and Washington. National Average Rating

The National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a Irish Sports Daily rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the Irish Sports Daily Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide Irish Sports Daily readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.
