Post-Official Update | Isaiah Rogers
Coming out of this weekend's official visit to Notre Dame, Isaiah Rogers feels even more confident about the class the Irish are building. The 2027 Massachusetts running back spent the weekend in South Bend alongside fellow Irish commits and future teammates, a group he believes grew significantly closer over the course of the visit."It was great," Rogers told Irish Sports Daily. "I feel like we really bonded. We're building that brotherhood as the time goes on and I feel like we got really close this weekend."Rogers said the visit included plenty of time with current players and coaches, along with stops around campus, including Notre Dame's facilities, the Golden Dome and a visit to the home of head coach Marcus Freeman."We did pretty much everything," Rogers said. The Springfield Central High School standout also spent considerable time with running backs coach Ja'Juan Seider, whose track record continues to resonate with both Rogers and fellow running back commit Lathan Whisenton."Me and Lathan and Coach Seider, we hung out a lot. He's preaching to us about what's going to happen when we get here. Whenever we have a conversation about stuff like that, it gets me ready.""I'd go to war for Coach Seider and that team."The idea of eventually forming a one-two punch in the backfield alongside Whisenton is something Rogers has already embraced as well."Doing it with Lathan in that backfield with Coach Seider coaching us, I mean, look at his resume, that's all he's been doing. Just going in with that mindset that Coach Seider can get us to the NFL with two backs and he's done it multiple times."Nothing about the weekend changed Rogers' commitment status, but it certainly reinforced why he picked Notre Dame in the first place.

National Average Rating

The National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a Irish Sports Daily rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the Irish Sports Daily Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide Irish Sports Daily readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.
