2027 New Jersey offensive lineman Olu Olubobola recaps this weekend's visit to South Bend for the Irish commit's official visit.

Oluwasemilore Olubobola came away from his official visit feeling even better about the people he'll soon be joining in South Bend.The 2027 New Jersey offensive lineman was back on campus this weekend alongside the rest of Notre Dame's offensive line commits and spent much of the visit building relationships with the players, coaches and future teammates he'll be around every day once he arrives.One of the biggest takeaways for Olubobola was getting the entire offensive line group together."It's good to see the people I'm going to be working by next year and getting a chance to get to know the people and just see other people again."The St. Peter's Prep standout emphasized how important that chemistry can be for offensive linemen.The Irish commits also spent some time recruiting Louisiana offensive lineman Albert Simien, one of Notre Dame's top remaining offensive line targets."I think he liked the visit."Olubobola talked with Simien about the top schools they had in common and Olubobola explained to Simien why he chose Notre Dame over those others.Olubobola also got the chance to spend more time with head coach Marcus Freeman and offensive line coach Joe Rudolph, including a visit to Freeman's home."Coach Freeman and Coach Rudolph just emphasized the brotherhood of Notre Dame and how Notre Dame will change you if you let it." Olubobola said.Another important part of the weekend was introducing his parents to Notre Dame for the first time."They loved it."That validation means a lot to him.
