2022 Lincoln-Way East (Ill.) receiver Jack Tremblay‍ had a nice 2019 season and his recruitment has picked up in recent weeks.

However, the attention hasn't impacted his drive as Tremblay has continued to work hard in the offseason.

"It's consisted of a lot of program lifting with my team and then I've been working on speed with my personal trainer, Gavin Weir, at Method Athletics," Tremblay stated.

"I feel confident in my acceleration getting out of breaks. I need to work on getting off the line and my starts. I'm working on my explosiveness off my first step."

The 6-foot, 202-pounder plays in the slot and feels his speed is his greatest strength at this point.

"My speed is my strength," said Tremblay. "My focus has been on my releases and catching in traffic."

The Frankfort native made his way to several camps last summer, including Notre Dame.

"It was definitely a good experience," explained Tremblay. "It made me size up how good of an athlete I was compared to some of the more athletic kids in the country. I saw where I was athletically."

Tremblay is looking for his first offer, but he hopes to hear from the Irish along with a few others.

"My dream school is Oregon," Tremblay said. "Realistically and locally, Notre Dame, Minnesota or Iowa would be awesome.

"I love the tradition at Notre Dame. It's also a brotherhood there. It's similar to how my high school is. It's centered around brotherhood and I love the atmosphere there."

Tremblay will head out on the road to visit a few schools in the coming weeks and then hopes to camp at Notre Dame this summer.

"I've been talking to Eastern Michigan," said Tremblay. "I'm going down to Purdue too.

"There have been a few schools who have stopped by or been in contact. I've talked with the Northwestern coaches and Bowling Green. I haven't spoken with Bowling Green, but they stopped in along with Minnesota."
