Everyone was certainly restless when the season ended. Many were calling for Brian Kelly to be fired and when it was clear that wasn't going to happen, they at least wanted to see change to show that 4-8 is not acceptable at Notre Dame. When it didn't happen immediately, people couldn't understand why.

Couldn't Kelly see that something was really off that led to the season? They wanted change and they wanted it now.
