2022 OL Jake Taylor Names Top 3

Alabama. Notre Dame. Oklahoma. 

2022 Bishop Gorman (Nev.) offensive lineman Jake Taylor‍ will chose one college football’s blue bloods to play his college ball at as he released his top three on Monday afternoon. 

The four-star prospect has had Notre Dame and Oklahoma at the top of his list for a few months, but Alabama coming fast as they’ve replaced Miami and USC in his top group after offering just three days ago. 

Notre Dame has been working hard on the four-star prospect as the Irish had him on a virtual visit last week and Taylor was impressed with what he saw, including head coach Brian Kelly. 

“They had a lot of the coaches on including the head coach, offensive coordinator and o-line coach and there were a couple others,” Taylor told ISD last week, noting Kelly’s presence on the call as especially illuminating.

“That's huge because that shows that they truly are interested in me…that meant the world to me.”

The next step for Alabama and Notre Dame will be to get him on campus. The 6-foot-5, 275-pounder hasn’t been to either campus, but he was at Oklahoma in December.
