2022 WR Amorion Walker Commits to Notre Dame
2022 Ponchatoula (La.) receiver Amorion Walker has committed to Notre Dame and is the first receiver in the recruiting class.
The 6-foot-3, 170-pounder chose the Irish over offers from Arkansas, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Kansas, Kansas State, Louisana, Louisana Tech, Memphis, Mississippi State, Old Dominion, Ole Miss, SMU, Southern, Southern Miss, Tulane, UNLV, Virginia Tech, Washington State and West Virginia.
Walker is currently rated a three-star prospect across the board, but it will be interesting to watch moving forward as he is 7-on-7 teammates with 2022 cornerback targets Jyaire Brown and Khamauri Rogers.
The Louisiana native joins quarterback Steve Angeli, running back JD Price, tight end Jack Nickel and offensive linemen Ty Chan and Joey Tanona in the Irish offensive haul in 2022.
Walker is the third Louisiana receiver Notre Dame has landed in recent years as Michael Young Jr. and Lawrence Keys III chose to play for Del Alexander in South Bend.
Stay tuned to ISD for more on Walker’s commitment.
