2023 Four-Star QB Brayden Dorman Loves First Look at Notre Dame
2023 Vista Ridge (Colo.) quarterback Brayden Dorman kicked off one of the most aggressive visit schedules in the country earlier this week at Wisconsin.
On Saturday, the 6-foot-5, 197-pounder made his way to South Bend and was blown away with what he saw at Notre Dame.
"I absolutely loved everything I saw today," Dorman told ISD. "Coach (Tommy) Rees and all the coaches made it super personal today. I got to see pretty much everything. It was a great visit and I loved everything about it."
The chance to meet with Rees was big for both sides as Notre Dame hasn’t offered Dorman to this point in his recruitment, but you'd never know it as the Irish offensive coordinator made an unforgettable impression.
"Coach Rees was super truthful and down to earth," explained Dorman. "He's just a super good guy. He's straight to how it is and that's exactly what I'm looking for in a coach
"My mom and I both enjoyed him talking to us."
Speaking of earning an offer, Dorman will be back at Notre Dame on Tuesday to work out for Rees at camp.
"I'm going to see him on Tuesday and go through some stuff at camp," said Dorman. "I'm looking forward to Tuesday."
The campus also impressed the Colorado native as he got to see the football facilities, Notre Dame Stadium and the rest of campus.
"The thing that surprised me were all the buildings were the exact same, which I really liked," stated Dorman. "Everything looked like it was meant to be there and it was so beautiful."
In addition to Notre Dame visits and the trip to Wisconsin, Dorman will also make stops at Auburn, Clemson, Georgia, LSU, Michigan State, Mississippi State, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Ole Miss, South Carolina and Tennessee.
It's a long time in the car, but Dorman is enjoying it.
"I'm on the way to Michigan State, so I'll be there Sunday and Monday," said Dorman. "We'll drive back that night to Notre Dame.
"It's kind of relaxing. My mom and I are switching up driving here and there. It's definitely time-consuming, so it's nice to get out and walk around a little bit."
