2023 Booker T. Washington (Okla.) defensive back Micah Tease‍ had a great visit to Notre Dame in June as he earned an offer from the Fighting Irish.

The 6-foot, 175-pounder returned to South Bend on Tuesday and got a deeper look into the program this time around.

“The difference from the last trip was that I got to get a tour of the entire campus because last time I was there for a camp,” Tease told ISD. “I really liked the dorms for students, the stadium and the campus.”

Tease was impressed by the Notre Dame staff on his first visit as he got to work with them, but this trip he was able to feel them out more.

The Oklahoma native also took the message from Marcus Freeman and Mike Mickens to heart as they made it clear Notre Dame was a decision that could benefit him for the rest of his life.

“The message from Coach Freeman and Coach Mickens was really ‘Why Notre Dame,’ explained Tease. “It wasn’t so much a question but a statement on what separates them from others.”

Notre Dame also made sure Tease got some time with some of the players on the team to pick their brain.

“I got to talk to Ramon Henderson,” stated Tease. “He gave me insight on how it is and what’s really unique about Notre Dame.”

With two trips in the book, Tease expects to be back in the fall for a game and he already has a game in mind.

“I will definitely be back for a game and it might be the USC game,” said Tease.
