As Notre Dame closes out its 2021 home schedule by bringing in a large group of prospects to town, several other major programs will be hosting key visitors as well, including many who are on the Irish’s recruiting board.

WAKE FOREST AT CLEMSON (NOON)

It certainly hasn’t been the kind of season we’ve come to expect out of Clemson, but the Tigers are still major threats when it comes to recruiting and they’ll be entertaining several top targets this weekend, including some top-of-the-board talent.

2023 Georgia safety Caleb Downs‍ (pictured above) may be at the top of everybody’s board at his position. He made a visit to South Bend this summer and returned for the Irish’s win over USC last month. He’ll be at Clemson this weekend.

So will 2023 Georgia running back Justice Haynes‍, who has also already made multiple trips to South Bend.

2023 Ohio lineman Luke Montgomery‍ is a top target for the Irish who will also be at Clemson along with Christopher Vizzina‍, a 2023 quarterback out of Alabama who recently received an Irish offer.

2024 cornerback Kaleb Beasley‍ landed an offer from the Irish when he was on campus a couple weeks back. He too will be at Clemson this weekend.

IOWA STATE AT OKLAHOMA (NOON)

2023 ATH Micah Tease was in South Bend earlier this fall

Oklahoma will be hosting some key Notre Dame targets as well, including 2023 athlete Micah Tease‍. An Oklahoma, Tease has already visited South Bend three times and is very high on the Irish.

2023 Pennsylvania linebacker Phil Picciotti‍ was at Notre Dame for the Navy game. He has an Irish offer and will also be in Norman this weekend as will elite 2023 Texas defensive lineman David Hicks‍.

MICHIGAN ST. AT OHIO STATE (NOON)

2023 OL Charles Jagusah will be in Columbus this weekend after checking out South Bend last month

As always, Ohio State will be hosting some top talent, most notably for Notre Dame fans, 2023 wide receiver Carnell Tate‍ and 2023 offensive lineman Charles Jagusah‍.

Both are top targets for the Irish, especially Tate who seems to be getting close to a final decision with the Buckeyes and Notre Dame battling it out. At one point, the Irish appeared to have an edge, but now it seems Ohio State may hold the advantage.

OTHER TRIPS WORTH NOTING

M’Pemba will be at an SEC program this weekend

2022 Utah athlete Carson Tabaracci‍ will be at Utah for the second time this fall after taking an official earlier. He took an official to Notre Dame as well and the Irish are certainly on the short list, but it seems as if the Utes top that list at the moment.

Top 2023 IMG defensive end Samuel M'Pemba‍ will be at Missouri this weekend. He visited Notre Dame earlier this season and the Irish seem to be in solid shape here.

2023 California quarterback Nicholaus Iamaleava‍ will be at Alabama where he’ll likely connect with Crimson Tide quarterback Bryce Young, who began his prep career playing for Kevin Pearson, Iamaleava’s current coach.

2024 Texas quarterback Derek Lagway‍ will be at Georgia after visiting Notre Dame a couple weeks ago.
