Notre Dame Visit Preview | Stanford Weekend

Notre Dame will hold its first major recruiting visit of the fall for Saturday’s primetime game against Stanford.

The Irish will be hosting multiple prospects with scholarship offers and will look to close a couple of them and we expect them to do so with at least one.

You can find the complete Visit List HERE

2023 RB Jeremiyah Love

The weekend’s headliner.

The St. Louis running back (pictured above, left) has been a top Irish target for the past few months and it certainly looks like we’re getting to the end of the process.

After multiple visits to Notre Dame and College Station, Love is returning to South Bend for what could be his final visit as an uncommitted recruit.

2023 ATH Brandyn Hillman

The North Carolina athlete was the nation’s hottest prospect for a couple of days earlier this month, when he piled up offers from Notre Dame, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Vanderbilt, Boston College, Tennessee, Kentucky and North Carolina among others.

He took an unofficial visit to Chapel Hill last weekend, but this weekend’s trip to South Bend will be his first official visit.

He’s traveling with his mother and head coach.

He’s being recruited as a true athlete who could help at receiver, running back, defensive back or wildcat quarterback.

Notre Dame is hoping to get him to come aboard this weekend.

We’ll see.

2023 OL Christopher Terek

The Wisconsin offensive line commit isn’t looking around because of the coaching change in Madison. In fact, he remains quite comfortable with the Badgers coaching staff.

When other schools circled back around in the wake of Paul Chryst’s firing, he told them he was good.

But Notre Dame reconnected when a spot opened up following Elijah Paige’s decommitment and when the Irish extended an invitation to visit, it was an opportunity he couldn’t pass up.

It’s clear he’s only considering Wisconsin and Notre Dame at this point.

If both sides are impressed this weekend, things could start moving fast.

2023 DE Michael Garner

The 6-foot-7, 245-pounder from Illinois has remained patient with the process and it could pay off in a major way.

The Chicagoland prospect has a host of MAC-level offers, but has been receiving interest from multiple Power 5 schools since the start of the fall.

He visited Iowa last month and was at Iowa a couple weeks ago. He’s already been to Iowa State and Minnesota and could get to Illinois soon as well.

It’ll be interesting to see how the Irish handle him this weekend.

2024 WR Jeremiah McClellan is excited about returning to South Bend,

2024 WR Jeremiah McClellan

The St. Louis native has already visited South Bend multiple times, but is excited about returning this weekend.

Irish receivers coach Chansi Stuckey and offensive coordinator Tommy Rees have made McClellan since offering him back in March and McClellan appreciates that.

He’ll make his own decision, but it certainly won’t hurt if his Christian Brothers College teammate, Jeremiyah Love, ends up at Notre Dame.

McClellan has certainly blown up in recent months with offers from Ohio State, Texas and Texas A&M among others.

These seems like a recruitment that will stretch on for a while, but continuing to get him to campus should help the Irish in the long run.

2024 WR Ryan Wingo

Another St. Louis prospect the Irish have been putting work in on. Wingo is an elite-level target and Notre Dame has been after him so hard in recent months, it’s easy to forget he was almost an afterthought before Chansi Stuckey was hired.

This will be his third trip to South Bend in the last few months.

Wingo will have his choice of schools and has kept busy this fall, making stops at Ohio State, Texas A&M, Tennessee, Pittsburgh, Arkansas and Kentucky already.

The list seems to be growing regularly, but expect all of those schools along with Penn State, Oregon, Miami and Michigan to be involved moving forward.

2024 DE Bryce Young

The son of Irish legend Bryant Young landed an offer from the Irish back in June, when he also picked up a Duke offer.

He earned his Notre Dame offer at camp this summer and wasn’t shy about expressing his excitement.

Tennessee, Florida, Michigan State and Boston College have also been showing interest.

2024 LB Payton Pierce

Notre Dame extended an offer to the Texas defender back in June, joining a list that already included schools like Texas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, LSU, Florida State, Penn State, Tennessee and Oregon among several others.

Pierce was on campus during the summer, so a return visit in the fall suggests a serious among of interest.

2024 OL Andrew Dennis will be back on campus again.

2024 OL Andrew Dennis

The Michigan big man has already made multiple visits to South Bend, so his interest in the Irish is clear despite not yet having a Notre Dame offer.

Dennis does have offers from schools like Central Michigan, Western Michigan, Bowling Green, Toledo and Miami-Ohio.

He was last at Notre Dame for Irish Invasion in June. He’s already visited Miami-Ohio and Toledo this fall.

2024 OL Marc Nave

The Ohio offensive lineman has a half-dozen offers, including one from Kentucky. He’s seen a boost in his recruitment since Sept. 1st and has already taken unofficial visit to Kentucky and Michigan State this fall.

2024 DE Camden Hardy

Hardy is the son of legendary linebacker Kevin Hardy, who was an All-American and Butkus Award winner at Illinois before being the #2 overall pick in the 1996 NFL Draft.

The younger Hardy plays at Atlantic Coast High School in Jacksonville, where his father starred for years for the Jaguars.

Hardy’s offer sheet already includes Illinois, Wake Forest, South Florida, UConn and Central Michigan.

2024 DL Peter Pesansky

The Tampa defensive lineman already has offers from Virginia Tech and Louisville among others.

He’s also a prospect worth keeping an eye on.
