Anthonie Knapp‍ has seen enough.

The 2024 Georgia offensive lineman is ready to bring his recruiting process to a close.

The Roswell High School standout will so during a press conference on Wednesday afternoon.

“I want to get this recruiting process over with because I've got my spring coming up and I don't find any good in just waiting any longer,” the 6-foot-4, 268-pounder told Irish Sports Daily.

He believes making his decision now is going to allow him to focus on his final season of high school ball.

“I think it's going to help me because this senior season is very important to me,” he said. “I think we have a great chance of going State and I just want to be able to get this whole recruit process over with so it doesn't affect my offseason; going on visits and stuff and missing workouts.

“I just feel like it's good to have a school under my belt because I never wanted to drag this thing out. I just wanted to just get it over with.”

Knapp was offered by new Irish offensive line coach Joe Rudolph when Rudolph was the offensive line coach at Virginia Tech. When Rudolph made the move to Notre Dame, Knapp hit him up and was invited to take a visit.

Knapp made that visit this past Friday and left with an extremely good feeling about Notre Dame and a scholarship offer from the Irish.

“The visit was amazing,” he told ISD afterward. “It was very personable. I showed up, watched the practice, took a tour around the campus, met all the coaches. It was very personable. I loved it. The campus is amazing. It's hard to find a campus that's like that. It's very pretty. I like how it keeps its heritage.”

On Wednesday, Knapp will be choosing from schools like Notre Dame, Penn State, Virginia Tech, North Carolina, Indiana, NC State and Virginia among several others.

Following Friday’s visit, Knapp offered what seems like an important quote when comparing the Irish to some of his other options.

“You go to a place like Notre Dame and it's just a better football program.”

We’ll find out Wednesday if that’s what Knapp is choosing.
