Cutter Boley‍ made the trip up to Notre Dame and Michigan this past weekend and the 2025 Kentucky quarterback enjoyed himself.

“It was really good,” Boley told Irish Sports Daily. “I had a really good time at both of them.”

Boley has been in touch with new Notre Dame quarterbacks coach Gino Guidugli and new offensive coordinator Gerad Parker frequently over the past few months.

“That was my first time actually talking to Coach Guigudli in person,” Boley explained. “I really liked him a lot. He's from Kentucky and so is Gerad. It is kind of cool that they're from Kentucky like me. I thought that was really cool.

“I really like all the coaches. I really like the message they had to give me. I really liked talking to Coach (Marcus) Freeman too. I think he's really a player's coach and someone guys can rally behind.”

That was Boley’s first time meeting Freeman as well.

“I was just getting to know him,” the Lexington Christian Academy star said. “He was asking me how everything went and stuff like that. It was really cool getting to talk to him. I know over TV, he seems like a great guy, but it was really cool to get to see him in person.”

Boley has been to campus several times over the years, but was again impressed.

“The campus and everything we got to do was really awesome,” he said.

The message from the coaches is a simple one.

“Just to keep getting back up to campus and just keep getting closer with the coaches,” Boley said of what the coaches have told him.

“I know they really like me. I know they're going to come down to spring ball and watch me throw and stuff like that.”

And Boley plans on returning to South Bend sometime this summer.

While at Notre Dame, he had the opportunity to reconnect with an old teammate.

“I actually know Ben Minich, the safety,” Boley said of the freshman defensive back. “Ben and I used to play baseball with him and on the Cincinnati Spikes when I was like 11 years old. It was cool seeing him because he was a really good baseball player when he was little. It's cool seeing him play there at safety and he had nothing but good things to say about it.

“All the guys on the team seemed like guys I would really connect with and like to be around.”

Boley also enjoyed his time in Ann Arbor.

“Michigan was really fun,” he said. “I got to spend a lot of time with Coach (Jim) Harbaugh and Coach (Kirk) Campbell. Coach Campbell is not the QB coach that originally recruited me. But I love Coach Campbell. We had a great connection. I really liked spending time with him. He's a really good guy.”

Boley has plans to take an unofficial visit to Florida State next week.

“After that, I'm not sure yet.”
