2025 RB Daniel Anderson Set To Return To Notre Dame

Daniel Anderson‍ has seen his recruitment pick up a bit this summer.

Since adding an offer from Notre Dame following his performance at June’s Irish Invasion, the 2025 Arkansas running back has also picked up offers from Mississippi State and Tennessee.

“Honestly, it's very exciting because you never really expect it until it's there and it just happens,” the 5-foot-10, 185-pounder says.

“I'm very honored to have those two other offers to my name now.”

The Bryant High School standout has some other potential trips in mind this month.

“We have a couple more camps planned out for the summer that we're going to be headed to because coaches sent me invites,” he says. “We might be headed to Alabama. We're not very sure yet on that one though. Then we're going to (Appalachian State) and Ole Miss.”

Anderson has also remained in touch with the Irish.

“I've kept in good contact with them,” he says. “We've called a few times. We actually FaceTimed during practice.”

Anderson was able to FaceTime with Notre Dame Director of High School Scouting Dre Brown.

“He just wanted to check in with me and he FaceTimed me during their practice to show me what it was like,” Anderson says.

“It was pretty cool. I liked the drills that I saw them doing. It looked like they were having fun with it too.”

Anderson will be back in South Bend later this month for the Irish’s BBQ and is also making plans to get back for a game in the fall.

“Honestly, it'll be amazing,” he says of his returns to Notre Dame.

“It just makes me feel really welcome that they want me back out there again so soon.”

Notre Dame had his attention even before extending the offer.

“It's such a highly-academic school that also has a great sports program to go with it,” he says. “It just really makes it one of the best of the best.”

Anderson says he doesn’t plan to rush a college choice before he’s ready.

“Maybe my senior year because I still have time to keep building up my progress and finalize my decisions.”
