Notre Dame Football Will Host Several Midwest Prospects This Weekend
2025 Murrieta Valley (Calif.) QB Bear Bachmeier will headline this weekend's visitor list as the four-star prospect will return to South Bend for an unofficial visit. Bachmeier was offered in the summer and Notre Dame has become a significant player here. The Irish staff has done a great job of building a strong rapport with the California native and Notre Dame will look to get this one done.

2025 PROSPECTS
Cathedral (Ind.) receiver Devaughn Slaughter picked up his first two offers earlier this year and hit the camp circuit hard. The 6-foot, 160-pounder has made several visits since June as he’s been to Ball State, Cincinnati, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Ohio State and West Virginia.

Offensive lineman Nolan Davenport hails from Ohio powerhouse Massillon, which is Marcus Freeman’s wife’s alma mater. The 6-foot-6, 240-pounder camped at Notre Dame over the summer and we believe the Irish view him as an offensive lineman despite national recruiting services listing him as a tight end.

Zionsville (Ind.) safety Max Phenicie is expected to visit this weekend. The 6-foot-2, 190-pounder holds one offer, but it’s from Ole Miss as the Rebels offered following camp in July. Phenicie has made fall visits to Indiana and Kentucky.
Junior Highlights
Piper (Kans.) linebacker Kai Reid is another prospect who camped at Notre Dame over the summer and had a solid day. The 6-foot-2, 200-pounder is still looking for his first offer, but would imagine that will happen sooner than later with a productive junior year. Reid also does the high jump and plays basketball for Piper.
Monticello (Minn.) athlete Luke Emmerich is perhaps one of nation’s most interesting prospects despite not holding an offer at this point in his recruitment. The 6-foot-2, 190-pounder has recorded a 4.53 40, broad jump of 10'1 and a vertical of 37 inches. Emmerich has visited South Dakota State and Kansas State this fall.
Darien (Conn.) tight end Kevin Roche is expected on campus this weekend. The 6-foot-9, 230-pounder holds an offer from Columbia.
Delta (Ind.) tight end Landon Brooks will also be in town. The 6-foot-6, 200-pounder earned his first offer last week from Toledo. Brooks was at Purdue for the season-opener against Fresno State.

2026 PROSPECTS
Notre Dame will host one of the top quarterbacks in the Midwest as Bolingbrook (Ill.) star Jonas Williams will be in town. The 6-foot-3, 185-pounder threw for 407 yards, seven touchdowns and no interceptions as a freshman last fall. Williams comes from the same program that produced former Notre Dame players Micah Dew-Treadway and Justin Walters.

Marist (Ill.) offensive lineman Rico Schrieber hails from Pat Coogan’s alma mater and seems like the next in line from the prestigious program. At 6-foot-7, 330 pounds, Schrieber has the attention of many programs across the country and Notre Dame will have a chance to make an impression on Saturday.
Offers: Ball State, Boston College, Buffalo, Miami, Nebraska and Purdue
The Irish will host an intriguing linebacker from Texas this weekend as Fort Bend Marshall star Noriel Dominguez will make the trip to the Midwest. The 6-foot-2, 195-pounder holds an interesting offer list of Arizona State, Oregon and Texas Tech. Dominguez was at Houston earlier this fall.
Copley (Ohio) offensive lineman Lucas Tielsch visited for camp over the summer and will return this weekend. The 6-foot-6, 270-pounder holds a couple early offers and was at Michigan State last weekend.

Freshman Highlights
Haslett (Mich.) running back Kory Amachree visited Notre Dame for camp in June and will return on Saturday to take in game day in South Bend. The 6-foot, 195-pounder has a solid early offer list and it will be interesting to see his recruitment in the coming months.
Offers: Akron, Arizona State, Ball State, Bowling Green, Central Michigan, Kent State, UMass, Navy and Western Michigan
Hamilton Southeastern (Ind.) offensive lineman Cameron Gorin will be a name to watch over the next few years and he’ll be at Notre Dame this weekend. The 6-foot-6, 260-pounder recently visited Indiana and was offered by the Hoosiers last week.
Offers: Ball State, Bowling Green, Eastern Michigan, Indiana, Louisville and Western Michigan
Matawan Regional (N.J.) receiver Welman Crooms Jr. has caught the attention of many early and will make a stop in South Bend. As a freshman, Crooms recorded 25 receptions for 245 yards and one touchdown while also making 28 tackles and one interception.
Offers: Boston College, Pitt, Syracuse and Virginia Tech
Another Marist (Ill.) player who will be on campus is receiver Stephen Brown. The 6-foot-7, 205-pounder also plays basketball and holds a hoops offer from Western Illinois, but he visited Marquette last month. Brown recorded five receptions for 150 yards and one. score last fall as a freshman

Painesville (Ohio) running back Shahn Alston will make his first trip to Notre Dame on Saturday. The 5-foot-9, 196-pounder visited Ohio State last weekend.

Portage Northern (Mich.) offensive lineman Gregory Patrick visited for spring practice and will return this weekend. The 6-foot-4, 262-pounder had a big summer as he reeled in several offers, including Oklahoma and was at Michigan State week one.
Offers: Central Michigan, Miami (OH), Michigan State, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Toledo and Western Michigan
The Irish will also host another quarterback with offers as Platte County (Mo.) signal-caller Rocco Marriott will make his way to South Bend. Marriott has thrown for 525 yards and 7 touchdowns in 2023.

Freeland (Mich.) athlete Tristan Comer camped in June at Notre Dame and returns on Saturday. The 6-foot-7, 215-pounder is another two-sport star as Eastern Michigan offered him in hoops.
Offers: Central Michigan and Miami (OH)
Notre Dame is also expected to host 2024 commits Cam Williams, Karson Hobbs, Aneyas Williams, Styles Prescod, Loghan Thomas, Brauntae Johnson and Taebron Bennie-Powell.
