The only thing as important as hard work in recruiting is a consistent message. There may have been some staff members during Brian Kelly's tenure that didn't work as hard as others, but I don't think anyone can argue that the Irish coaching staff hasn't communicated the right message the majority of the time.

It's all about 4 for 40. The tradition, the NFL Draft picks, and the unique college football experience at Notre Dame are all part of the sales pitch for recruits.
