Wide receiver Beaux Collins was a top of the board prospect for Notre Dame during the 2021 recruiting cycle, but the former St. John Bosco (Calif.) star signed with Clemson.

Collins will now play in the blue and gold following three seasons at Clemson as the 6-foot-3, 210-pounder announced his transfer to Notre Dame following a visit and becomes the second portal commit for Marcus Freeman’s Fighting Irish at the receiver position after Kris Mitchell committed earlier this week.

During his 32-game career at Clemson, Collins totaled 91 receptions for 1,290 yards and 11 touchdowns. 2023 was his most productive season as he snagged 38 balls for 510 yards and three scores,

As a freshman, Collins joined DeAndre Hopkins, Sammy Watkins, Artavis Scott, Hunter Renfrow, Deon Cain and Justyn Ross as the only Clemson freshmen in the Dabo Swinney era to record at least 30 catches and at least 400 yards as the California native totaled 31 receptions for 407 yards and three touchdowns.

Collins was named a CSC Academic All-District selection and All-ACC Academic Team selection his sophomore season for the Tigers.

Off the field, Collins majored in Management and completed a mircointernship at NFL Headquarters in 2022.
