It’s not the season Notre Dame expected or wanted, but when push comes to shove there were more highs than lows, including what has transpired over the last month as it relates to roster building and improving the coaching staff. 

The hiring of Mike Denbrock and Mike Brown give Notre Dame veteran coaches who have been through the fire instead of a staff of eager youth.
