Standout 2019 LB Recaps ND Visit

Shammond Cooper visited Notre Dame for the first time on Sunday and the 2019 St. Louis linebacker had a chance to speak with Irish defensive coordinator Mike Elko and linebackers coach Clark Lea.

“They’re really good guys,” the 6-foot-1, 190-pounder said. “I liked them a lot.”

Cooper and several of his Trinity Catholic High School teammates were in Chicago for an event and decided to pop down to South Bend to check out Notre Dame while in the area.
