Film Don't Lie | Dylan Faison
A day after Notre Dame’s first big push with 2026 recruiting, they picked up their first commitment in the class. It’s a name that Irish fans will be familiar with as well.
Dylan Faison is the younger brother of current Notre Dame receiver Jordan Faison and just like his older brother, Dylan is an elite lacrosse prospect. On the football field, Dylan played both sides of the ball, but made his biggest impact on offense.
He averaged over 25 yards per reception and he’s an exciting player when he gets his hands on the football.
Height: 5’11”
Weight: 170
Projected Position: Wide receiver
ISD Grade: 89 (3-star)
National Average Grade: Unranked
What he does best:
He can really run. He’s a deep threat who tracks the football really well.
Faison flashes awesome ability after the catch with his short area quickness. You can see how him avoiding defenders on the lacrosse field translates so well to football.
Another thing that translates is the grit. He doesn’t want to settle and does a nice job fighting through arm tackles.
What he needs to improve:
He’s going to be a problem when he gets stronger because some of those stumbles on contact won’t be there.
He has all of the tools to become an elite route runner, but I’ve only seen a limited route tree with him at this time.
What’s his ceiling?
It’s impossible to watch him and not see the exact traits that stood out with his older brother as a freshman. Toughness, lateral agility, and speed can go a long way at receiver and Dylan Faison checks those boxes. He has a longer frame than his brother as well.
He has the potential to become someone who feasts against man coverage and makes plays after the catch as well as a returner. This is a really nice piece to start the 2026 class for the Irish.
Who he could be:
