It was my first (quick) look at Notre Dame’s football team this spring on a rainy South Bend morning. The media was able to watch five periods today.
Here are some of my observations.
- The Irish got things going with a one on one tackling drill for linebackers and defensive backs against running backs, receivers, and tight ends. There were a handful of reps that stood out to me.
Christian Gray had that first big pop that you could hear from far away when his pads made contact.
