Meet Frank Buzolits aka Frankbuz.
Which state and town do you currently live? The Villages, FL
Alum (what year) or SubAlum? Class of 1960, the only college class in history to have a President (Eisenhower) to give commencement speech and a Pope (Cardinal Montini, later Paul VI) to give the baccalaureate Mass..
Why ND? How did you become a fan? Born in Elkhart, Parents from SB, father born 4 blks from campus on Hill St, great-grandfather and maternal grandparents buried at Cedar Grove on campus, and a lot of uncles who started my on the school with tale of Rockne teams and many visits to campus.
Do you remember the first ND game you watched? 1943 GaTech game. Sat in south east corner of stadium. Tech had "sh**y" all brown uniforms. All I remember.
Which game was your first Irish game attended, and how many have you attended over your lifetime? See above. Probably about 40.
What is ND's record in games you've attended (maybe you're the problem)? Brennan was coach and we were 20-20 in my four years. Think I'm ahead. Did see the '93 BC game.
What is your favorite ND moment? Clements to Weber to beat Bama in Sugar Bowl. 2nd is beating USC 51-0 in 1966 with backup QB in 1966. Brennan running opening KO 97 yds in 1947 to beat Army.
The most proud you've ever been to be a ND fan? Graduation day to today.
The most angry you've ever been at a ND game? 93 BC game and 1950 Purdue loss that ended Leahy"s unbeaten streak.
Have you ever physically broken something because you were so angry during or after a ND game? Oh ya.
Top 5 favorite ND players of all time? Lujack, Hornung, Lattner, Rocket, Bettis
5 Irish players who didn't get enough respect? Jim Martin, Dick Lynch, Bob Gladieux, Jarious Jackson, and Wayne Bullock
Favorite place on ND campus? Grotto
Favorite ND game tradition? Alma Mater after game.

Most despised opposition player ND has played against? Vinny Testaverdae, Doc Blanchard

Traditionalist, or spend whatever, let's compete? Traditionalist. Only spending that is not being done would be illegal.
What is your ideal ND season? Other than a NC year, any year ranked in top 10.
If you could sit and watch a ND game with one person, who would it be and why? My Dad. Always did except for when I was in school.
Worst fans in college football? We are all pretty bad when it comes to our teams.
Most hated opposition coach? Earl Blaik of Army. Bo is second.
What is your favorite thing about ISD? Posters are reasonably sane and logical, not like some sites.
Which ISD staff member do you think is the best dancer? You can choose mods, interns, columnists, etc. At my age, everybody is good.
What should be the punishment for Buccos, who says he is happy with 8 wins in any season? Being Buccos is punishment enough.
