2026 CB Khary Adams Returns To Notre Dame, Will Be Back Again
After releasing a Top 10 a couple months ago, Khary Adams seems to have narrowed his list even further.
Not surprisingly, the 2026 Maryland cornerback has Notre Dame on his shortened list.
In fact, the Loyola Blakefield star returned South Bend this past weekend for another visit.
“It was good,” the 6-foot-2, 180-pounder told Irish Sports Daily afterward. “It was good. I had a lot of fun.
“We got to see everything. I got a good look around the campus, the practice. I saw everything.”
Adams visited Notre Dame twice last year and got to see even more this time.
“I met with the academic people this time, that was new,” he said. “They were talking about how they have a lot of support there.”
Academics will matter when it’s time for Adams to make a final decision.
“I want to go somewhere that would get me a good education, set me up for life outside of football,” he said.
He spent plenty of time with Irish defensive backs coach Mike Mickens and the coaching staff.
“It was good,” said Adams. “They were telling me that I'm a priority and they need me on the team and how coming to Notre Dame is bigger than football.”
He also appreciated getting a peek at an Irish practice session.
“It was good,” he said. “It was run very efficiently.”
While in town, Adams was able to spend time with another Notre Dame defensive backs target, North Carolina safety Nicholas Reddish. He didn’t spend much time with the current members of the team, but does feel good about the culture at Notre Dame.
“I think I would fit in,” he said. “I think they're good guys, guys about ball.”
Adams plans to finish out his visit schedule between now and June before a decision.
He’ll take an unofficial to Oregon Thursday before getting into official visit season. When asked, he listed four spots for official visits; Notre Dame, South Carolina, Penn State and Oregon.
