Notre Dame recruiting remained on a roll last week with the commitment of 2026 Florida defensive back Ayden Pouncey‍.

The 6-foot-3, 175-pounder from Winter Park is being brought in as a cornerback for the Irish, but it’s obvious all sides recognize he could play safety as well. 

“He's a dude, man,” one source told Irish Sports Daily of Pouncey after his commitment. “He's fast, he's violent, physical, he checks every box.
