Irish Invasion Preview | OL/DL

Notre Dame will host several 2026 targets and commits this month - in fact, the Irish already have.

But as the Irish are trying to shore up their current recruiting class, as always, they’re also at work on the classes coming behind them and will host dozens of prospects for this weekend’s Irish Invasion.

In advance, we’re taking a look at some of the prospects expected to participate in Friday’s showcase camp. This is not an exhaustive list.

We fully expect more newsworthy players to be added to the list before the end of the week and as always, we anticipate some last-minute scratches.

We already looked at the offensive skill players expected to attend, so now we turn our attention to the big boys up front on the offensive and defensive lines.

2027 offensive lineman Cameron Wagner‍ (pictured above) is one of the most important visitors this weekend, regardless of position. The Illinois prospect visited South Bend back in March and left with an offer from the Irish. He’s excited to show more of his family what Notre Dame is all about and is also looking forward to continuing to build bonds with Joe Rudolph and the rest of the Notre Dame coaching staff. Rudolph has already told Wagner that the Irish have identified the St. Joseph-Ogden High School standout as somebody they believe fits Notre Dame and Wagner feels that as well. Wagner’s offer sheet also includes schools like Ohio State, Penn State, Nebraska, Texas A&M, Illinois, Iowa, Indiana and Purdue. And he’ll be taking visits to Texas A&M, Illinois, Penn State, Ohio State, Nebraska and Florida this month, so the recruitment isn’t a slam dunk. Still, it’s one the Irish are well-positioned for at the moment.

Luke Injaychock‍ is another 2027 Illinois offensive lineman we’re eyeing this weekend. He doesn’t have an offer from Notre Dame yet, but he is building a strong sheet with offers from Northwestern, Iowa State, Minnesota, Kansas, Louisville and NC State among others. It’s clear the Nazareth Academy star will be motivated to show the Irish what he can do this weekend to put himself on their radar. We’ve seen Midwestern prospects come to this camp in the past looking to prove themselves and when they do, a lot of times it’s worked out well for both sides.

Other notable offensive linemen expected in attendance include 2027 Pennsylvania prospect James Halter‍, son of former Irish offensive lineman Jordan Falter, as well as 2028 Iowa lineman Carter Barrett‍, who is already compiling an impressive offer sheet with schools like Iowa, Iowa State, Wisconsin, Texas A&M, Ole Miss and Tennessee among others.

2027 Wisconsin DE Isaac Miller

On the defensive side of the ball, Notre Dame has a few linemen who it has already offered.

2027 Wisconsin defensive lineman Isaac Miller‍ picked up an offer from the Irish back in May. Miller acknowledged that he thought he was going to need to earn an offer at camp, but instead will arrive in South Bend with one in hand. He’s still excited to perform and excited to learn more about Notre Dame and its staff this weekend. The Catholic Memorial High School standout comes from the same program that produced incoming Irish offensive lineman Owen Strebig. He made visits to Northwestern, Iowa, Purdue, Wisconsin, Minnesota and Nebraska in April and is planning a stop at Ohio State later this month.

2027 California defensive tackle Jeremiah Williams‍ also picked up his offer from the Irish on Pot of Gold Day. The 6-foot-1, 300-pounder has big-time offers from coast to coast from programs like USC, UCLA, Washington, Texas, Texas A&M, Tennessee, Miami and Georgia among others. Again, getting a West Coast prospect to make good on his plans to take an unofficial visit to South Bend shows some level of serious interest in Notre Dame. Exactly what level, we should find out sometime after the visit.

2027 Illinois defensive lineman Brayden Parks‍ and 2027 Mississippi defensive lineman Deven Robertson‍ both have Irish offers and are expected to attend.
