Notre Dame might have just one day in pads, but those who have seen practice are impressed. 

The biggest takeaway is the size of the defensive line. In talking with one source who has seen several practices throughout the years, they couldn’t stop talking about how much the room has changed. 

Now, it speaks volumes for Notre Dame to pass the eye test, as recruiting defensive linemen has always been an uphill battle.
