2020 defensive end Bryce Mostella‍ made his third visit to South Bend last Saturday night to watch Notre Dame take on Georgia.

“The first time I was there for their game against Virginia Tech and the second time during break while they were practicing,” the East Kentwood standout explained.

Despite visiting South Bend a couple times before, the campus in South Bend and the energy inside Notre Dame Stadium still made for a great day for Mostella.

“We toured the practice facility and some of the academic facilities,” expressed Mostella. “It is always a great atmosphere in South Bend, it was a great game, and whenever I go to Notre Dame, I become more impressed.”

Along with touring the facilities and enjoying the atmosphere of the game, the 6-foot-6, 227-pounder was able to speak with a few Irish coaches.

“I talked to Coach (Mike) Elston, Coach (Jeff) Quinn, and Coach (Matt) Balis,” said Mostella. “Their message to me was to gain weight, which is something I have been trying to do and just to keep working hard.”

The Class of 2020 defensive end has not only attracted interest from the Irish, but also a host of other FBS schools such as Wisconsin, Michigan State, and Michigan. The big sophomore explained what scouts like most about him.

“They say they love my athleticism and length at my position,” expressed Mostella.

The Michigan native has plans to visit other FBS powerhouses over the next couple weeks and would love to get back to Notre Dame.

“This coming week I am supposed to go to Pittsburgh and then the week after I am supposed to go to Alabama and then maybe Auburn,” said the Class of 2020 standout “I will definitely also try and get back to Notre Dame again.”
