4-0 would be better, but 3-1 ain’t bad.
That’s my feeling on Notre Dame’s first quarter of the season, but the way they have been able to get to that 3-1 mark is what is really encouraging about what’s to come.
With three Power 5 opponents on the schedule, they are averaging 38.8 point per game. They are 3rd in the nation in yards per carry (6.83). They’re averaging 6.36 yards per play. That’s on pace for the second best mark in the Brian Kelly era next to 2015.
