Unreal half of football. We need to come out with even more intense focus this half, though. Absolutely need to finish them off - we already have their head under the water. Just a little more and they are done.

I was born in 87, been a Subway domer from birth, lived in the Carolinas all my life where ND isn't very popular.... This is my favorite game vs USC EVER. Finally no excuses of a down year or NCAA penalties. they are ranked higher than us and had a Heisman hopeful. Been waiting a long time for this. Go Irish!!

I remember what John McKay said to his team when they were behind at half 24-7. He said "Good news, we talked to the refs and they said blocking and tackling are still legal".

No idea what Helton will say. We aren't tired and we are more physical.

I hope we don't start with bend don't break.

Guys, it's a freaking beautiful thing when it's 28-0 against your arch rival at halftime and it could have even been worse. All I can say is finish!

ND leveraging depth. Pride playing a lot. Hinish in on tackle for loss.

Hope that ND has play for Dexter Williams in the second half (if he's healthy enough). A fresh Dexter against a tired defense is a great formula.

I admit, prior to tonight, I thought our defense was pretty good - decent but not elite talent, with Elko's scheme raising their collective bar to pretty good. But I am thinking they're actually a lot better than that. I still don't think they're "elite" because of the general talent gap, but they're close.
